Dayata Kirula - 2012


Sixth Deyata Kirula National Exhibition and Development Programme 2012 was held at Oyamaduwa area in the Anuradhapura district. The extend of Oyamaduwa area where the “Deyata Kirula” National Development Exhibition held around 2600 acres which were been developed under 05 zones namely Forest Reservation, Farm Land,Agriculture Area, Tanks-located area and the Area of Common Facilities . The integrated development programme include the network development in the exhibition ground covering around 500 acres, water and electricity supply, development of 5 tanks located in the exhibition ground, rehabilitation of buildings,& construction of new buildings and temporary construction. Economic benefits of this annual development drive were expected to be shared by the people of the area itself their employment in the undertaking. In addition, permanent buildings constructed for the exhibition have been designed and were utilized by the residents of the area even after the Exhibition. They include buildings such as store complexes, rest houses.
